My Lesson Process

Hello! I'm sure you are wondering why I only listed "Golf Swing Assessment" under my services. Worry not, I definitely do lessons! I specialize in basic mechanics, distance and golf course management but mainly I focus on making your swing match your athleticism. Swinging athletically is not just about swinging hard, rather swinging with your body. Understanding how your body wants to swing versus forcing it to swing a certain way is, in my opinion, the fastest way to get you hitting it further and more consistently! All this to say, I start all of my clients with an assessment first and then I come up with a curated game plan for the most efficient way to get you to meet your goals. After the assessment, then I work with you directly and will give you my direct line so that we can plan lessons that work with your schedule :)

Step 1

TPI Body Swing Assessment

The first step in the assessment process, I take you through 16 basic movements allowing me to see what physical limitations and strengths we are working with. As I work with you through these movements, I'll get to know your body history as it pertains to injuries, strengths, and everyday lifestyle.

Step 2

Swing Analysis

After completing the movements, I'll have you take me through your practice routine showing me how you start your typical range session. As I keep in mind your body assessment, I will start noticing things in your swing and how it relates to your body.

Step 3

Golf Instruction

At this point, I'll have a comprehensive overview of your swing, and have a plan on how to tackle your golf game in order to meet your goals. Whether that means we start with swing instruction, body mobility, muscle engagement, or a mixture of different aspects.

Step 4

Road Map

Concluding our assessment, I will give you an overview of:

  1. What I want you to work on after this assessment based on your results and my analysis.

  2. A sneak peak on what we will work on once you get comfortable with the new changes, and a reasoning to why each step is crucial to master before the next change.

  3. Discuss lesson plans that fit your needs and goals!
